Due to the need to avoid social gatherings, Empower Idaho has decided to move this art show into a visual format online and will be holding two exhibitions opposed to one. While they understand this is a nontraditional approach to an art exhibition, the show must go on!

Retreads Block Party Driveway Concert

Are you craving some live local music? Ready to venture out and practice some safe social distancing while enjoying some live local music?

Local musicians that make up the upbeat and entertaining band, The Retreads, are ready to get back to their instruments and fans! The Retreads Block Party Driveway Concert will take place this Friday May 15 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at 2391 E Parkside Dr. Boise.

From the band:
Folks we are really missing each other band wise, performing live, and all of you as well. No shows for us is unheard of until this lockdown. Now that the stay at home has been lightly lifted, we are super excited to put on a home driveway show to have fun, dance, and just be happy. It’s partly a live rehearsal for us and a but self indulgent, but dang this will be fun. Of course we expect all of you to follow social distance guidelines. Bring your chairs, space out, dance and have fun. Our plan is 6:30 – 8:30. If this goes well we consider a couple more at other locations until summer gigs are back to the new normal.

Tylor Ketchum Streams Live from His Couch

Looking for a little extra fun and excitement to add to your Friday nights? Why not invite Tylor Ketchum, from Tylor & the Train Robbers, to your place? Virtually, of course!

Tylor Ketchum, Live from the Couch, is now live streaming on Facebook every Friday night at 7 p.m.
From the Tylor & the Train Robbers’ website:

We’re missing the road and getting out there to play live shows for you all, but for now it looks like we’ll be staying home for a while. In these uncertain times, it means the world to us to have the support of so many amazing people. We’ve had lots of questions about how you can help, so we just wanted to give a few options here. First you can buy merch from right here on our site. We are continuing to take orders and will ship out as soon as it’s safe and possible. Secondly, we are showing up live on Facebook and Instagram regularly to share some music and stay in touch. We are accepting tips during those performances via PayPal or Venmo. If you are in the position to help out and feel like that is something you want to do, we very humbly and graciously thank you! Our fans and friends are what keep us going on and off the road. Without you, we wouldn’t be able to do what we love to do and we never take for granted the time and money you spend to support us.

Check out the Tylor & The Train Robbers Facebook page for other upcoming live videos.
